Pure Ivy began as a solo project by Boise based musician Kait Hendrix in the spring of 2015. The project evolved into a full band with the addition of Peyton Blackwell, Jun Campion, Garrick Meacham, and Kyler Daron in the years following. IN 2019 they released their debut self-titled EP, Pure Ivy.

Pure Ivy aims to write honest heartfelt music and names artists like Noah Gundersen, Julien Baker, and Phoebe Bridgers as influences. Personal themes in the songwriting allow for connection with a wide variety of listeners.
