Grand Marshal Clair Kilton was represented by family members during the annual Veterans Day Parade in Boise, Idaho on November 4, 2017.

The parade named four Grand Marshals - each representing a different era of military history. One of the grand marshals, Clair Kilton, a World War II veteran passed away a few days before the parade.

Clair Kilton began active duty with the U.S. Army in March 1943. He fought in battles in Northern France, Rhineland, Ardennes, and Central Germany. By the he was discharged in September 1945, he had received decorations, including the European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign medal with five Battle stars, a Purple Heart and Silver Star.

He was represented in the parade by family members.
