Remembrance. Wendy Blickenstaff's COVID Cultural Commissioning (CCC) Fund art prints displayed along the Boise greenbelt from W. Main St. Bridge to
the Whitewater Park. October 15, 2020, Boise, Idaho.

Wendy Blickenstaff is a Boise based artist who displayed her COVID-19, social justice, and 2020 psychological art prints along the Boise greenbelt from W. Main St. Bridge to
the Whitewater Park. Her work is hand-printed with weatherproof ink onto fabric. The art was tied gently to trees along the path. Several works by artists from Boise's Interfaith Sanctuary were also included in this greenbelt show. The subject matter of the show was family friendly. The themes of the images move between the challenges of 2020 and the hope and resilience of our community.

The COVID Cultural Commissioning (CCC) Fund was born out of the early need to support Boise Creatives during the COVID-19 crisis. Through this fund, 69 individuals in the Treasure Valley were awarded a one-time $1,000 commission for the creation of work exploring, documenting and/or reflecting on personal experiences of the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on our community.
