Boise senior Madison Lung at the start of heat #1 of the 200 meters, Idaho High School Track & Field State Championships 5A at Dona Larson Park, Boise, Idaho. May 15, 2015.
Lung won this heat and went on to win the 200 meter finals in 24.82 which would have set the 200 record but was wind-aided. Lung broke a 15-year-old overall meet record in the 400 with a time of 55.87. She also anchored Boise’s 4x100 relay to a win and the 4x400 to a second-place finish. Boise girls won the 5A state team title.
